The Manager, Finance Robotic Process Automation will lead a newly formed team focused on delivering process improvements through lean principles and automation. This role is part of the Global Finance Services (GFS) organization, which is focused on advancing capabilities in 1) Global Process Improvement, which requires that we innovate and continuously improve for a faster, more efficient organization, and 2) Project Excellence, which requires that we prioritize projects and manage resources to drive value.
The Manager will be responsible to evaluate and deploy emerging solutions such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) that provide further opportunities for the finance team to focus on higher:value work.In addition to driving and supporting a culture of continuous improvement, the Manager will support finance leadership in prioritizing automation work requests across the organization.
Responsibilities include:
:Lead a team in the achievement of organizational goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports.
:Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives
:Lead in the planning and communication of automation and RPA initiatives
:Collaborate with business stakeholders to support current state process assessments and future state solutions
:Drive and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management
:Work with team to identify and drive the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the function
:Analyze and observe processes to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete transactions
:Identify processes that are suitable for automation, and provide recommendations to reengineer processes to improve automation potential
:Build, test deliver and maintain robotic automation capabilities using industry leading RPA software
:Communicate project status and results to management
Basic Qualifications:
:Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or Information Technology required
:7+ years progressive experience in business:facing IT role, or in finance/accounting role
:Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including business process and data analytics
:Strong financial and business acumen
:Demonstrated ability to design, develop, optimize, and integrate analytic solutions of a complex nature across an organization
:Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to influence at all levels from multiple departments and geographic locations; awareness of cultural differences
:Committed to finding solutions to challenges and enjoys creative problem solving
:Ability to solve problems collaboratively and build strong relationships
:Team player, flexible, and committed to quality process and outcomes
:Strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks
:Process orientation with strong attention to detail
:Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
:Master's degree in finance, business or IT preferred
:Lean process knowledge, certification preferred
:Experience with RPA software such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, and programming (VBA, ETL, Java) a plus
:Technical experience in several of the following areas:
:User level skills with Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL
:User level skills in SAP, SAP BW, Hyperion
:Visual Basic / Flow Charting skills a plus
