:Thorough knowledge of current theories and principles in field of specialty.
:Demonstrated ability to interact with peers, medical staff, patients/families and other constituents involved in patient care.
:Knowledgeable of the system through which the child must move in order to obtain care.
:Must have excellent skills in verbal and written communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution

:Performs and participates as part of the transdisciplinary team in an initial assessment to help establish a diagnosis or probable source of disorder or delay.
:Provides effective intervention treatment plans by contributing as a specialist in physical therapy or as part of a collaborative transdisciplinary team effort, operating within scope of practice.
:Evaluates the effectiveness of treatment plans at various stages and adjusts treatments to maximize outcomes.
:Maintains reliable systems to document, track and monitor cases.
:Follows established procedures, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures. 13;

:Ability to read and write to communicate both orally and in writing with other individuals.
:Normal or corrected:to:normal vision, including peripheral vision.
:Ability to lift, push and pull up to 150 lbs., as well as carry up to 40 lbs.
:Ability to stand, squat, reach, bend, walk, twist and sit in one place throughout shift.
:Ability to use hands and feet together for repetitive, coordinated motions.
:Ability to use hands for gripping and squeezing as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
