The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, reviewing, and correcting the most complex level of Federal and State tax returns and FAS109 Reporting. Additionally the Senior Analyst will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and completing the monthly, quarterly, and annual Corporate Tax Provisions and other Income Tax Projects throughout the year as assigned by Management. What will I be doing?The Senior Tax Analyst duties will include reviewing, preparing, analyzing, and correcting various returns and reports, dictated by different state and federal regulations, deadlines and reporting requirements. This position will require work to be performed independently with minimum direct supervision, and little correction required in the final work product. Additionally, Senior Tax Analyst will make routine and non-routine decisions with guidance from supervisor. The Senior Tax Analyst will need to have knowledge of general accounting principles and tax reporting, as well as the ability to implement and comply with new state and federal requirements.Other key priorities are listed below: Responsible for independently preparing, analyzing and correcting 110+ annual Federal tax returns in the Hilton consolidated groupResponsible for ensuring timely and accurate preparation of filings and making any corrections as reported by the Tax Supervisor and Management Responsible for independently reviewing, correcting, analyzing and preparing the finalization of the deferred balance roll forwards (cumulative statement of book and tax deferred temporary differences required for SEC reporting) for the 110+ Hilton entitiesResponsible for independently preparing, analyzing and correcting 300+ annual State tax returns in the Hilton consolidated groupResponsible for the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provisions, to ensure timely and accurate annual tax entries and tax balances are completed and reported to Corporate Accounting upon finalization by ManagementResponsible for the preparation and completion of various other tax projects that are required during the year including tax reconciliation, cash flow analysis, refund re-class analysis, estimated payments, and other projects as assigned by the Tax Supervisor and ManagementWhat are we looking for?To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:BA/BS Bachelor's DegreeA minimum of two (2) years of corporate or public accounting experience in the area of corporate income taxIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:MA/MS Master's Degree in Tax, Accountancy or Business AdministrationExperience with the preparation of US reporting for international activity on forms 5471, 8858, 8865, and 1118What will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
