Hello, everyone my name is Kay,
I am a milliner (hat maker) and have been making and teaching hat making more than twenty years, and will be conducting a 2-day weekend workshop on hat making. This workshop will take place in Memphis, March 3-4, 2012. The exact location will be announced later, and is expected to be held at a South East Memphis location.

This workshop will consist of covering and frame making. The registration fee is $175.00 for one day, or $350.00 for both and includes some supplies. Those paying through PayPal have the option of making one, two, or three separate payments.

On the first day, attendees will be covering buckram hat frames, which will be provided, and is included in the registration fee. The second day we will be making hat frames, which consists of making your own hat shapes by using wooden hat blocks and other materials (also included.

During the frame making process, attendees will start from scratch and create three different hat frames of their choice (having access to more than 35 wooden hat blocks).
