Provides technical assistance for a wide variety of technical and software application inquiries. Troubleshoots and answers questions and resolves computer problems for endusers in person, via telephone, or electronically. May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, word processing, electronic mail and operating systems. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Must have at least two (2) years of work related experience.
:Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Scanning, EMR software, and Outlook.
:Ability to diagnose, research and resolve basic software application problems.
:Knowledge of healthcare billing and electronic health records terminology helpful.
:Ability to read and comprehend complex written material, such as computer system manuals.
:Ability to create end user support and training materials and presentations and process guides. 13;

:Serves as a resource and liaison to office managers, staff and providers to provide initial and ongoing training.
:Assists with initial training of physician practice office personnel.
:Acts as co:administrator of EMR with manager for physician practice offices.
:Responds on an on:call basis to application and customer problems. Provides hardware, software, trouble:shooting, support and training. Provides preliminary diagnoses on hardware, software and network problems. Works jointly with management and MLH Information Systems to diagnose and resolve system problems. 13;

:The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
:Must have good balance and coordination.
:The physical requirements of this position are: light work : exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
:The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
