Ability to be responsible for accurate and timely processing of claims
Researching and processing claims
Ability to verify the coding of procedure and diagnosis codes
Resolve system edits, audits, and claims errors through research
and use approved references and investigative sources
*Coordinate with internal depts to work edits and deferrals updating patient identification, update other health insurance.
*Strong Analytical Skills - able to follow instructions - strong oral and written communication skills - proficient in spelling, punctuation and grammar
*Detailed and organized
* Customer Service skills
* 1 yr experience in a healthcare of insurance environment
*Experience with Microsoft applications, word, excel & outlook
